Rep. Norcross Statement on the Passing of Rep. Bill Pascrell

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Rep. Donald Norcross (D-NJ) released the following statement on the news of the passing of Rep. Bill Pascrell:

"I'm devastated to learn of the passing of my dear friend, Representative Bill Pascrell. Bill is the definition of a Jersey guy, he was smart, passionate, and a true champion for his district and the state of New Jersey.

"After nearly 30 years of serving New Jersey, Bill delivered groundbreaking environmental protections and health care benefits to Americans everywhere. Bill was always committed to building a better future for the next generation and cared deeply about his community.

"His long and storied career in New Jersey politics will be remembered by all who loved him. On this sad day for our state and country, I send my condolences to his friends, family, and staff."
