Willkie Advises Primary Wave Music on Acquisition of Producer Jon Landau’s Music Rights

Willkie represented Primary Wave Music, an independent publisher of iconic and legendary music, in its acquisition of Jon Landau's music rights, including producer royalties and neighboring rights royalties, across his 55 years in music. Landau is a legendary manager and producer who has worked with numerous artists including Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne.

Landau began working with Bruce Springsteen in 1975, managing the artist and co-producing many of his critically acclaimed albums, including Born To Run, Born in the U.S.A., Lucky Town and Tracks. Landau worked with Jackson Browne on his studio album, The Pretender, which reached the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, and was certified multi-platinum. He has also worked with artists including Shania Twain, Natalie Merchant, Train, and Alejandro Escovedo, among others.

The Willkie team was led by partner Sid Fohrman and included associates Hayley Silvertown and Brooke Diulio.
