Agricultural District #3 Review

ATTENTION SCHUYLER COUNTY FARMERS & LANDOWNERS IN AG DISTRICT #3 (Towns of Catharine, Cayuta, & Montour)

Do you want your land included in the county's agricultural district?

The Schuyler County Legislature will review Schuyler County Agricultural District #3 in 2025, according to the eight-year cycle set forth in Article 25AA, Section 303-a of the NYS Agricultural Districts Law. District #3 is located within the Towns of Catherine, Cayuta, and Montour and comprises about 15.521 acres and approximately 80 farms. A map of the District will be on file and open to public inspection at Schuyler County Planning Department.

You can petition to add your land until December 13, 2024.

Please note: This Ag District enrollment is for Ag District #3 only. Schuyler County's Annual Ag District Enrollment is from January 15-February 15, 2025.
