Green Bay Metro Fire Department Launches Mobile Integrated Health Division

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department, in partnership with the Brown County Public Health, is excited to unveil the new Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Division in an effort to improve community health services. The MIH Division is an evolving model of community-based health care, focusing on improving the lives of patients, lowering healthcare costs, and using EMS providers as resources to solve healthcare problems within the community

The MIH Division will be staffed with two full-time paramedics. These paramedics will establish programs to serve patients with a wide variety of needs, including high-frequency 9-1-1 user intervention, chronic disease management, wellness checks, and more.
