Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10100 Clay Road

August 7, 2024- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10100 Clay Road about 2:45 a.m. today (August 7).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer D. Thompson reported:

The male was driving a black Honda Civic eastbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, he failed to stay in a single lane and left the roadway. The Honda then struck a utility pole. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

The investigation is continuing.
