Walk On The Wild Side at Riverbend Park

Riverbend Park is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located at 9060 Indiantown Road, Jupiter. For more information on Riverbend Park, visit www.pbcnature.com. All programs are by online reservation only, unless otherwise stated. Please register online at www.pbcparks.com; under "Online Services" click on Register/Pay for Program, or visit the office to register and make payment. All participants are required to sign a Program Participation Form before each program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All programs run approximately 90 minutes depending upon the experience level of participants. Please bring drinking water, sunscreen, and insect repellent to each program. NATURALIST WALKS
Fridays, 8 a.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations required)
Join naturalists each week for a 1-hour guided walk exploring the trails of Riverbend Park. It's a great way to become familiar with the plant and animal communities, trails, and historic events of the park. Call to 561-741-1359 reserve.

REPTILE ENCOUNTERS
Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m.
All ages, FREE (Reservations not required)
Join naturalists each week for a short meet & greet with one of our resident reptile ambassadors.

ARCHERY 101
Saturday, September 7, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified staff to learn a new skill! This exciting program teaches archery safety and how to properly use the equipment before getting to practice on the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.

WINGS AND WILDFLOWERS: POLLINATOR HIKE

Ages 5+, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Join us for an enlightening Pollinator Hike led by knowledgeable naturalists through Riverbed's trails! Discover the vital role of pollinators like bees and butterflies in ensuring the reproduction of our favorite flowers and crops. This family-friendly adventure offers interactive activities to deepen your connection with nature and celebrate the beauty of pollinators in our ecosystem.

FAMILY NIGHT HIKE
Friday, September 20, 7 p.m.
All Ages, $5/participant (Reservations required)
Join us for an enchanting Family Night Hike under the stars! This guided adventure led by experienced naturalists, is perfect for families looking to explore the wonders of nature after dusk. Good walking shoes, water, a flashlight, and bug spray are recommended.

OPEN RANGE ARCHERY
Saturday, September 21, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Join USA Archery certified staff to hone your archery skills! This program is offered to participants who have already attended a basic archery course at Riverbend Park. Participants will shoot at different targets and different distances. Basic safety review will be conducted before heading to the range. Equipment is provided. Note: Bows may be difficult to pull for smaller children.
FISHING FUN
Saturday, September 28, 9:30 a.m.
Ages 8+, $10/participant (Reservations required)
Learn basic fishing techniques and safety while fishing for the big one! Proper outdoor clothing, water, sunblock and sunglasses are recommended. Fishing gear is provided.
