Mike Brown Promoted to COO-Elect

PMA is excited to share the advancement of Mike Brown, PMP, to the position of COO-elect. In this role, he joins the Office of CEO and begins shadowing Don Fredlund, whom he will succeed as COO-West. He will collaborate on strategic initiatives to drive the company forward while continuing to lead PMA teams and support clients across the US.

Don remarked on the promotion, "I have had the pleasure of working with Mike on a variety of projects and corporate initiatives since he came to PMA in 2016 and observed first-hand his strong work ethic, commitment to PMA, and excellence in his work products. His style and professionalism regarding business development and performing services has resulted in PMA becoming the "go-to consultant" for several key clients in the Denver area as well as in other markets. I look forward to transitioning my role to Mike over the coming months and know he will do an excellent job for PMA in that regard."

Since joining PMA in 2016, Mike has been instrumental in accelerating PMA's growth in the West. Prior to PMA, he spent a decade at Jacobs, where he led business development strategy and project execution as Manager of Projects.

Mike holds an Executive MBA and a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maine. He is the former President of CMAA Colorado and frequently lectures on project controls, estimating, and construction innovation at the University of Colorado Denver's graduate program in Construction Engineering and Management.
