Media Advisory: All Kent County Offices and Health Clinics Will Be Closed In Observance of Labor Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (August 29, 2024) - All Kent County offices and Health Department clinics will be closed on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day.

The Kent County Correctional Facility will maintain regular hours. However, all other administrative services provided by the Sheriff's Office will be closed.

All Department of Public Works services and facilities will also be closed on Monday, September 2. On Saturday, September 7, the Recycling Center will be open to commercial haulers 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Waste-To-Energy will be open to commercial haulers from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
