DALLAS - Dallas ISD will be closed from Monday, July 1, to Friday, July 5, for summer break. Central offices will resume regular summer business hours on Monday, July 8.
B-ROLL: High School students get a glimpse of healthcare professions
This week, high school students with a passion for healthcare attended the Future Doctors Summer Camp at Sunset High School. Guided by Texas A&M University medical students, participants were immersed in hands-on activities like dissecting and suturing animal hearts. They also received valuable mentoring and gained insights into various healthcare specialties.
To ensure that all students have access to nutritious food during the break, select schools will continue to provide free meals for children younger than 18 and students up to 21 years old with disabilities. To view a complete list of participating campuses, click here.
