On October 30, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Evan Silveira, age 41, last known address of 17 Morris Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Silveira was arraigned in Third District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Silveira was ordered held at the ACI pending his return to Attleboro.
On October 30, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Elissa Ogunba, age 41, last known address of 9 Goddard Street, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Ms. Ogunba was arraigned in Third District Court, where she waived extradition proceedings. Ms. Ogunba was ordered held at the ACI pending her return to Seekonk.
On October 30, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Trea Hopper, age 31, last known address of 300 Admiral Street, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Connecticut. Mr. Hopper was arraigned in Third District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Hopper was ordered held at the ACI pending his return to Berlin.
On October 30, 2024, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Thomas Angelina, age 35, of 5 Wentworth Street 1st Floor, North Providence, Rhode Island, on an extraditable Warrant out of the State of Virginia for Committing Certain Sex Offenses with a Minor. Mr. Angelina was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Third District Court before the Honorable Magistrate O'Neill. Mr. Angelina declined to waive extradition proceedings and bail was set at $100,000 with double surety.
On October 30, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Pedro R. Garcia, age 21, of 49 Regent Avenue 2nd Floor, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for Domestic Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. Mr. Garcia was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Police Department.
