Absentee voting for the Aug. 27 municipal election in the City of Huntsville is now open.
The City Clerk's Office will accept absentee applications by mail through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20. The last day for a voter to apply for an absentee ballot in person is Aug. 22, while Aug. 26 is the last day to apply for an emergency absentee ballot.

Ballot applications can be delivered to the City Clerk's Office on the third floor of City Hall, 305 Fountain Circle. Completed applications can also be mailed to:

Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Aug. 26 and received by noon Aug. 27 to be counted. Voters can also hand-deliver their ballot to an absentee election manager by close of business on Aug. 26.
