The Parks and Recreation Department today announced that the skatepark at Peter Pan Park, 32nd and "W" streets, is now closed for a resurfacing and repair project. The park is expected to reopen Monday, August 19.

"We are dedicated to ensuring the quality of this skatepark and the safety of its visitors. We look forward to welcoming the skating community back to the space next week," said JJ Yost, Parks and Recreation Assistant Director.

Skaters are asked to avoid the area during the project. The skatepark at Tierra Briarhurst Park, 2800 Tierra Drive, remains open.
