Angelo State Kicks Off Centennial Capital Campaign

Angelo State University has officially kicked off the public phase of a capital campaign that will run through ASU's centennial celebration in 2028 with the goal of raising $128 million to fund a wide variety of academic, student life and athletics initiatives.

Titled "Leading the Charge," the capital campaign first conducted an unannounced quiet phase that began in 2021 and has so far raised just over $73 million.

At the heart of the campaign are four key pillars that encapsulate Angelo State's mission and vision for the future:

  • Rams on the Rise - Guiding Student Success with Expanded Resources and Endowments
  • Shepherding Success - Creating an Environment for Enhanced Learning Experience
  • Scaling New Heights - Advancing Angelo State's Position as a Center for Research and Innovation
  • Stronger Together - Engaging with Community Partners for Mutual Benefit

Ronnie Hawkins Jr."Our Leading the Charge capital campaign is an initiative that is reflective of the evolutionary journey we are on at Angelo State to provide unparalleled opportunities for not only students, faculty, and staff, but our community as well," said ASU President Ronnie Hawkins. "Being an innovative leader is how we want the university to be known, and this initiative inspires us to 'Lead the Charge' toward a brighter future. Having the support of our alumni, community partners, and new donors is crucial to making this campaign a reality."

  • Endowed scholarship programs
