Pizzulli Highlights Controlling Board Funding for Shawnee State University

COLUMBUS -The Ohio Controlling Board today approved the release of $1,807,689.80 to be used by Shawnee State University for the Campus Gateway/Third Street Development Project, announced State Rep. Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County).

This funding will be used to reopen the previously closed section of Third Street on campus. The project will specifically include curbing, sidewalk installation, asphalt work, and landscaping.

"This project will increase student safety while creating a welcoming first impression for those entering campus," said Pizzulli. "Shawnee State truly is a pillar of our community."
