Yes, you read that right: Rob Bresnahan donated thousands to Matt Cartwright last cycle before he was handpicked by Washington extremists to run against him. After the Scranton Times-Tribune exposed his inconvenient donation this morning, Bresnahan is struggling to explain why he sold out his supposed values.

This has been a tough week for Bresnahan. On Monday, Keystone Newsroom exposed Bresnahan for opposing prescription drug price caps and health care subsidies that thousands of Pennsylvanian seniors rely on. And on Tuesday it was reported that the multi-millionaire - who is worth almost $70 million - was endorsing a tax plan that would "overwhelmingly benefit multi-millionaires " like himself and add "$4.6 trillion to the deficit."

• Two years before running for the seat of the current 8th District congressman from Moosic, Bresnahan, of Dallas Twp., the CEO of his family's business, Kuharchik Construction, gave $2,000 to Cartwright's campaign, according to Federal Election Commission documents. The funds were sent Oct. 18, 2022, the document shows.
