On September 13, 2024, Darrell W. Crate, Chief Executive Officer of Easterly Government Properties, Inc. (the "Company") was appointed to also serve as the Company's President, effective September 13, 2024, replacing Meghan G. Baivier following her departure from the Company, as previously announced in the Company's Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") on August 21, 2024.

Biographical information for Mr. Crate can be found in the Company's Definitive Proxy Statement on Schedule 14A filed with the SEC on April 5, 2024, which information is incorporated herein by reference. There are no arrangements or understandings with any other person pursuant to which Mr. Crate's appointment would occur, and there are no family relationships between Mr. Crate and any director or executive officer of the Company.
