On September 11, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force and the Lincoln Barracks arrested Eduardo Ballista, age 36, 120 Ortoleva Drive, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession with the Intent to Deliver 1 oz - 1 kilogram of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl; 2) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; 3) Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Fentanyl. Mr. Ballista was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Sixth District Court.

On September 12, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Shayne E. McClair, age 33, of 75 Village Road Apartment 6, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Fugitive from Justice Warrant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Parole/Probation Violation on an original charge of Aggravated Assault with a Gun; 2) Resisting Arrest; and 3) Obstruction. Mr. McClair was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Providence County District Court.

On September 12, 2024, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrest Jailene Muniz Tosado, age 32, of 218 Dexter Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Insurance Fraud. Ms. Tosado was special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future court date.

On September 12, 2024, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Yanessa Diaz, age 24, of 34 Youngs Avenue, West Warwick, Rhode Island, for Insurance Fraud. Ms. Diaz was special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future court date.
