ALTOONA, Pa. - Todd Davis, professor of English and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, will be a featured poet at the Dodge Poetry Festival in Newark, New Jersey.
The biennial Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival, the largest poetry event in North America, takes place Oct. 17 through 19 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. Davis will read from his new book, "Ditch Memory: New & Selected Poems," on three separate panels: "Writing Our Land: Environmental Justice," "A Poet's Heart Is Always Breaking," and "Griots, Troubadours and MCs: Poetry and the Oral Tradition."
