Erie County Receives $943,817 for Children’s Library Renovation

ERIE, PA - - Erie County Executive Brenton Davis, Erie County Public Library Director Jessica Spitulski, and President of the Erie Regional Library Foundation Jim Dible, will announce a grant of $943,817 from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). This funding, part of the COVID-19 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), will be used to renovate the Children's Library space inside the Blasco Memorial Library.

The renovation will enhance the library's ability to provide educational and community programs, create a more engaging environment for young learners, and improve accessibility and functionality for all patrons. These upgrades will help support Erie County's commitment to learning and community engagement.
