Firelands Physician Group welcomes pulmonologist

(Sandusky, Ohio)Yuhann Kenneth Lopez, M.D., recently joined the Firelands Physician Group pulmonology office with Christopher E. Avendano, M.D. and Nathan Samsa, D.O. Dr. Lopez is a pulmonary and critical care specialist who has a focus on general pulmonary diseases, COPD, asthma, smoking cessation, lung cancer screening and prevention. He earned his doctor of medicine at the Cebu Institute of Medicine in Cebu, Philippines. He also completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

"I am honored to join Firelands Health," said Dr. Lopez. "My goal is to deliver the highest quality care with a strong emphasis on community health. I am committed to providing patient-centered care that focuses on the individual needs and concerns of each patient. I look forward to working closely with the community to promote respiratory health and improve the quality of life for my patients."

Dr. Lopez's office is located in Professional Center II at 703 Tyler St., Suite 251, Sandusky. Firelands Physician Group pulmonology appointments are by referral only. Patients can speak with their primary care provider about what pulmonary care might look like for them.
