Bettendorf Community Band to Kick Off 57th Season with Free Concert
OCTOBER 16, 2024 - A musical escape awaits… and it won't cost you a penny!
On Friday, October 25th at 7pm, the Bettendorf Community Band - a partner of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department and endorsed by the City of Bettendorf - is holding its Fall Concert at St. John's Methodist Church, 109 E. 14th Street in Davenport.
This free event includes 50 musicians performing a variety of songs ranging from popular Sousa marches to exquisite opera pieces that showcase this group's versatility and depth.
"We are excited to begin our 57th Season with such a vibrant and varied program," said Thomas Knowles, Music Director. "Our goal is to celebrate the rich history of band music and entertain our audience with a repertoire that spans a wide array of musical genres."
