Theresa Fink Named Market Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Conemaugh Physician Group.

Conemaugh Health System today announced the appointment of Theresa Fink, MSSL, as the new Market Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Conemaugh Physician Group (CPG).

In her role, Theresa will manage the strategic planning, growth, development, and quality improvement of the Conemaugh Physician Group, leading a team of highly skilled physicians and Advanced Practice Providers delivering exceptional care across a five-county region.

Ms. Fink has been serving in the interim capacity since May 2024. Before joining CPG, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Tower Health Medical Group, where she was responsible for the operational oversight and strategic growth of 128 multi-specialty physician practices, 890 physicians, 411 advanced practice providers, and 1,200 support staff.

During her tenure at Tower Health, Ms. Fink provided operational leadership for all physician ambulatory practices and administrative oversight for employed hospital-based physician practices, including Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Programs, and Anesthesia. Her leadership was instrumental in business growth, acquiring more than seventy-five new providers and expanding medical, surgical, and primary care physicians, resulting in improved access to care and enhanced financial performance.

She also played a crucial role in implementing a unified Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system across Tower Health's seven hospitals and 128 physician practice locations. In addition, Ms. Fink led the successful rollout of online scheduling and a patient portal, enhancing patient access and convenience. She introduced a patient-customer service excellence program across all 128 practices, resulting in a Press Ganey satisfaction score of 95.6% after just 13 months.

Theresa Fink holds a Master of Strategic Leadership from California University in San Diego, CA, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix.
