Professor Carlos Baradat, Esq. Receives Florida Bar Award

South University congratulates esteemed Professor Carlos Baradat, Esq., a faculty member in South University's Online Programs Legal Studies Department, on receiving the 2024 President's Award for the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools and Resources from the President of the Florida Bar Association. Professor Baradat's invaluable assistance to the Florida Bar Board of Governors in implementing and utilizing AI for legal professionals and the public has been groundbreaking for the legal profession. The Legal Studies Department is excited not only for Professor Baradat's award but also for his role as a subject matter expert in overhauling our LGS2007-Computers in the Legal Office class, transforming it into the legal technology class of the future.

Professor Baradat is a distinguished legal expert and technologist with over a decade of experience in digital forensics, eDiscovery, and law firm technology. As the founder of Legal Tech Dynamics, LLC, he provides comprehensive legal services nationwide, specializing in ethics, civil procedure, evidence, cybersecurity, AI, and privacy laws. Professor Baradat has been an educator for nearly ten years. He has developed and taught numerous courses and served in leadership roles within the Florida Bar. A respected speaker at national conferences, he focuses on integrating technology in law and ethics. Professor Baradat is passionate about teaching and dedicated to preparing future legal professionals.
