City Wide Yard Waste Collection

On Saturday, July 27, there will be an additional city-wide bagged yard waste collection. Since Hurricane Beryl's landfall, the Public Works Solid Waste Division crews have been working six days-a-week to address the high volume of solid waste, recycling, and yard waste to expedite normalcy. Recovering from a storm requires community effort, so residents are asked to bag loose leaves for composting. Yard waste not in compostable bags will be disposed of as trash.
