Tulsa Animal Welfare to Participate in "Operation Pit Stop" Throughout September

Tulsa Animal Welfare is proud to announce its participation in "Operation Pit Stop" throughout September. In collaboration with the Humane Society of Tulsa, free spay/neuter services and vaccinations will be provided for bully mixed-breed dogs at two convenient locations in Tulsa.
Mobile veterinary teams will be available at the following locations/dates:
  • Sept. 11 - Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sept. 21 and 22 - Tulsa Zoo, far north end of the public parking lot, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All surgical appointments will include free vaccinations and microchipping. Operation Pit Stop is specifically designed for bully mixed-breed dogs.

Pet owners are requested to enter their pet's accurate weight during registration, as pets registered with inaccurate weight will be turned away at check-in.
