Lam Research Is Honored with Villach, Austria’s Coat of Arms

Driving the news: Today, Lam Research received the Coat of Arms from Günther Albel, the Mayor of Villach, Austria, in recognition of our over 30-year presence in the city and our contributions to the local community.

  • We also celebrated the grand opening of Building 17, a new multifunctional and integrated facility in Villach that includes manufacturing and logistics functions.
  • The event was attended by the Vice Governor of Carinthia, the Provincial Councilor, and Lam leadership, including Aaron Fellis, corporate vice president and general manager, WETS Technologies.

  • "The cascadable setup in the building has been thoughtfully laid out to facilitate spatial flexibility on campus. Moreover, an automated shelf-based storage system boosts ergonomics, three-dimensional space utilization, and throughput."
