Lane Closures on State Routes 120, 49 & 108

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on State Route 120 (SR-120), State Route 49 (SR-49), and State Route 108 (SR-108). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic controls on SR-49 between Woods Way and Bell Money Road in Jamestown for tree workbeginning Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 11, 2024, from 5:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. NOTE: Please prepare for extended delay times of 15-25 minutes and intermittent noise during tree removal.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-49 between Mackey Ranch Road and the railroad crossing in Montezuma for drainage work beginning Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-49 between Sapphire Ridge Road and Reynolds Ferry Road near Tuttletown for drainage work beginning Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-49 between O'Hara Drive in Sonora and Flume Road in Tuttletown for tree work beginning Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

State Route 120

  • One-way traffic control on SR-120 between Grizzley Road and Old Priest Grade Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, July 8, through Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-120 between Ponderosa Lane and Hopper Street in Groveland for long-term sidewalk work beginning Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

State Route 108

  • One-way traffic control on SR-108 between Kennedy Meadows and Sonora Pass for drainage cleaning beginning Monday, July 8 through Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 to 15-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
