The 92nd General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) opened on Monday, 4th November, 2024 in Glasgow, Scotland. Representing The Bahamas are Bridget E. Hepburn, Actg. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security (Head of the Delegation), Assistant Commissioner of Police Roberto Goodman, Supt. of Police Royann Collie (Director of INTERPOL in The Bahamas), and Corporal Yolanda Williams of the Royal Bahamas Police Force.
This week, Security Experts from 196 countries have gathered in Glasgow, Scotland, to discuss and present strategies to fight human trafficking, drug trafficking, human smuggling, terrorism, cyber crime etc. The Ministry of National Security's attendance and participation express our commitment on an international level to support crime fighting initiatives.
