New slots for 'White House Chronicles' and 'A Captain's Log'

This past summer, KCRT introduced two new TV series to its lineup: talk show "White House Chronicle" and the "Star Trek"-inspired "A Captain's Log." Both shows are continuing into the fall lineup and have added some new time slots.

Hosted by journalist Llewellyn King, "White House Chronicle" is a long-running, weekly news and public affairs program. Focusing on politics, foreign affairs, economy, and technology, some of the topics that are discussed include the deep roots of America's housing crisis, the electricity supply crisis, the end of U.S.-China engagement, and America's housing shortage. The series premieres Sundays at 10AM with encores on Sundays at 11PM (new added slot), Mondays at 1PM and 8:30PM (new primetime time slot) on KCRT-TV.

Hosted by Bryan Kreutz and Lili Fox-Lim, "A Captain's Log " is a talk show that focuses on the "Star Trek" universe -- from the original TV series ("The Original Series, "The Next Generation," "Deep Space Nine, "Voyager," and "Enterprise"), feature films, to current "Trek" shows ("Discovery," "Strange New Worlds," "Picard," "Lower Decks," and "Prodigy"). The 30-minute series has insider news and interviews with creators, writers, and actors from the long-running sci-fi franchise. Now airing episodes from season 2, "A Captain's Log" premieres on Fridays at 4:30PM (new time slot) with regular encores on Saturday nights at 11:30PM and Sunday mornings at 10:30AM.
