The Dr. Darrell Millner Building Opens

As of July 8th, the Dr. Darrell Millner Building is officially open. This project brings 63 new affordable homes to Overlook, and is subject to the N/NE Preference Policyin order to address the history of urban renewal-related displacement in the area.
Developed by Community Development Partners and Self Enhancement, Inc., the Millner Building includes 17 deeply-affordable units for households making less than 30% AMI, and 48 units have multiple bedrooms to accommodate families. Amenities include a community garden and playground.
The Millner Building was funded by the Metro Affordable Housing Bond, which has now opened 405 affordable homes in Portland, with another 1371 in development, and hundreds more to be announced soon. Thank you to the voters for supporting affordable housing!
