Homecoming and Family Weekend 2024 Preview

Homecoming is a special time for friends of the University to gather on Olivet's campus. With activities planned for all ages and interests, Olivet celebrates accomplishments and heritage during a three-day schedule of events.

"We love our Olivet community and are excited to welcome all alumni, friends and family back to campus during Homecoming & Family Weekend!" said Erika Moeschke'12/'19 M.B.A., Senior Director of Alumni Relations and University Advancement. "Let's reunite for a weekend filled with cherished traditions, heartwarming moments and the joy of being together again. Your presence completes the picture of our Homecoming and Family Weekend. We can't wait to see you!"

Friday, October 25:

  • Homecoming Chapel featuring presentation of "O" Awards and Young Alumni Awards, 10 a.m. Centennial Chapel
  • Women's Basketball, 5:15 p.m., McHie Arena
  • Men's Basketball, 7:30 p.m., McHie Arena
  • The 5th Quarter Fair Olivet's newest Homecoming tradition featuring local food vendors, games, activities and Olivet's first 50-foot ice cream bar with all your favorite toppings and treats.

Saturday, October 26:

  • Undergraduate Reunions welcoming back the Classes of 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014, 2019, as well as our Purple & Gold grads (anyone graduating prior to 1974), 9:30 a.m.-Noon, various locations
  • Future Tiger Training for children 8th grade and younger
  • Family Fun Zone, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Warming House Lawn
  • Football Game, 1 p.m., Ward Field
  • Messiah: The Reunion Concert presented by the School of Music featuring our 250-voice alumni choir, 7 p.m. Centennial Chapel.

Sunday, October 27:

  • President's Prayer Breakfast, 8 a.m., Chalfant Hall

Hannah Priest

Hannah Priest '21/'22 MBA is passionate about people and sharing their stories. After graduating from Olivet with a degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, she has found much joy in serving as the associate director of Alumni and University Relations at Olivet and a freelance writer. In her role, she has the ability to celebrate the accomplishments of those in the Olivet community and share stories of their meaningful experiences from their time at ONU and beyond. Outside of her work at Olivet, she is also a feature editor for SPLENDEUR magazine, an up-and-coming small business aimed at encouraging, equipping and empowering women to find their God-given purpose in whatever season of life they are in.
