Traffic Update: Cypress Street Improvement Project Begins N. 5th Intersection Reconstruction

Starting Monday, August 5th, the North 5th intersection reconstruction will be added to Phase 1 of the Cypress Street Improvement Project. As a result, the N. 5th & Cypress intersection will be closed for the duration of Phase 1, which is expected to be completed by early October.

Traffic flow will temporarily be open on N. 6th - the area between the hotel and the convention center - for two-way traffic between Cypress and Cedar. Please note that no stopping or parking is allowed in this area, as it is designated as a fire lane. Please also note two traffic bumps in this location.

Once N. 5th is reopened, N. 6th (fire lane) will be closed again.
