Donation of Technical Equipment to Schools in Thrace by the Ministry of National Defence

Upon initiative of the Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias, the Directorate of Military and Technological Support of the Ministry of National Defence provided technical equipment to Kindergartens and a Junior High School in Thrace.

The action took place in the context of social contribution of the Ministry of National Defence and the Armed Forces to children and families that live in remote areas of the country.

The technical equipment was delivered on Thursday 28 November and on Friday 29 November 2024, in consultation with the competent Education Directorates, by a team led by the Director of the Directorate of Military and Technological Support of the General Directorate for Financial Planning and Support, Captain Marios Arvanitakis HN, who was accompanied by D Army Corps staff officers, to the 1^stJunior High School of Komotini, the Kindergartens of Gratini and Nea Kallisti, Rodopi, as well as the Kindergarten of Roussa, Evros.

The equipment delivered will greatly facilitate the educational work of teachers, while at least 446 children will be able to use modern technical means for their education.
