Wetland Reserve Program/Wetland Reserve Easement (WRP/WRE) and Hazardous waste reviews - the 136.6.1 EPGwill soon have some updates including reviews for Wetland Reserve Program easements and hazardous waste use of E-STARTinformation. The EPG will be updated to describe what WRP/WRE is and the implications for impacting those properties. See the text of the EPG or see the compliance checklist for a quick view.

Bats!FHWA Bat programmatic agreement (PA)- a new PA is coming out that will include tricolor bat that will also now require mitigation for tree clearing outside of 300 feet, which is different than the current requirement. The update/change will also likely impact review of USFWS IPaCreport system temporarily as these updates go into effect. **NEW** US Fish and Wildlife Service Range-Wide Indiana and Northern long-eared bat survey guidelines were revised in March 2024 and the new summer occupancy dates for Missouri are April 1 - October 15. Those are the dates bats are expected to be in summer habitat (trees). Therefore, tree clearing in the inactive season can now start on October 16 but still needs to be completed by March 31. There are exceptions which will be identified during the T&E screening process. This information will also be revised in the EPGsoon.
