Assignment of Military Doctor to the General Hospital of Samos and Enlisted Soldier Doctor to the National Guard Battalion of Meghisti to Serve at the Regional Clinic of Meghisti Upon Decision of the Deputy Minister of National Defence Giannis Kefalogiannis

Upon decision of the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Giannis Kefalogiannis, a military doctor (urology surgeon) was assigned to the General Hospital of Samos. Within this framework, the officer in question will be on duty at the aforementioned hospital once per month for 30 months.

Furthermore, a medical school graduate enlisted soldier was assigned to the National Guard Battalion of Meghisti to serve at the Regional Clinic of Meghisti until 31 August 2024.

The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Giannis Kefalogiannis, made the following statement:

"The Armed Forces go hand in hand with society; that is an indisputable fact. With a sense of duty, we continue to reinforce Public Health with actions, ensuring the prosperity of our fellow citizens and their equal access to medical healthcare".
