Intermittent Road Closure Notice - Nordic Drive

Beginning July 18, 2024, the contractor will begin the asphalt portion of the work on Nordic Drive from the 5600 block of Nordic Drive through the end of the cul-de-sac. Citizens may expect the following sequence of activities:

- Taper Milling - Planned for 7/18/24 (Thursday, weather permitting): The taper milling will grind the road near the edge of the overlay limits. The roadway will remain open to vehicular traffic during this step.

- Base Pavement (Asphalt): The base pavement will be placed overnight in a single night and may be driven on soon after. This step is currently planned for the week of July 22 (weather permitting). During this placement, no access will be allowed on the street or to driveways. The contractor will post 'No Parking' signs along the street before the start of construction. Once these are posted please be sure to relocate your vehicles out of your driveway if impacted.

- Surface Pavement (Asphalt): Surface paving will take place overnight in a single night the following week and may be driven on soon after. During this placement, no access will be allowed on the street or to driveways.

Weather permitting, this construction process will take approximately two weeks. During most of that time, the roadway will be fully open to vehicular traffic.
