Notice to motorists about traffic impacts across the island
O'ahu map showing the locations of where curb ramp work is expected to begin in Pearl City, 'Aiea, Salt Lake, Kalihi, Kakaako, Ala Moana, Makiki, Mānoa, Kaimuki, Kāhala and Kailua.O'AHU - The public is advised that curb ramp work at the locations shown on the map above will start on August 14, 2023, with work expected to be completed by January 2024. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the demolition, removal and disposal of existing pavements, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and curb ramps; construction of new sidewalks, curb ramps, and curb and gutters; reconstructing of pavement transitions; adjustment of utility box frames and covers; and restoration of all pavement striping.
Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, observe all traffic control devices and no parking signs. Please use extreme caution in these areas or use alternate routes.
