Fargo Public Library to Host Five-Part Wellbeing Series Starting Sunday, September 29

The workshops are part of the One Book, One Community event series

    One Book One Community Connections Workshop Series

As part of the 2024 One Book, One Community reading project, the Fargo Public Library will host a five-part writing and reflection series titled "Connections: Finding Balance Between Self-Care and Community." In this workshop series, participants will read poetry, discuss and write for greater wellbeing in order to celebrate our need for connection and community.

The workshops will be facilitated by Christine Ellsworth, an author and a member of the National Association for Poetry Therapy and the International Federation of Biblio-Poetry Therapy. Poetry therapy has been recognized as beneficial to people who seek healing and growth. Sessions are scheduled for the following dates and times at the downtown Main Library:
• Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 6, at 1:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 13, at 1:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1:30 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 27, at 1:30 p.m.

Space is limited; pre-registration is required and can be done online or by calling 701.241.1492. The event is intended for adults. For more details, contact Lori West at 701.476.5977.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children ages 9 and younger.
