Cooper Green launches Hygiene Heroes cleaning supplies donation drive

The public is encouraged to bring items to the guest services desks in Cooper Green's lobbies during operational hours, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.Cooper Green Mercy Health, an affiliate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System, is hosting a donation drive to collect cleaning supplies for patients in need.

Cleaning supplies requested include:

• All-purpose cleaner
• Microfiber cloths
• Disinfecting wipes
• Dishwashing detergent
• Laundry detergent
• Bathroom cleaner
• Furniture polish
• Window cleaner

Donations will be accepted until Thursday, Aug. 22, and will be distributed to enrolled Cooper Green patients Aug. 23. The public is encouraged to bring items to the guest services desks in Cooper Green's lobbies during operational hours, from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
