We know Santa hasn't even left the North Pole yet, but we do have a few post-holiday reminders!
TREE RECYCLING:
Starting December 20th, you can bring your undecorated trees to 2290 NE 5th Avenue, south of Copans Road (adjacent to the Air Park). The drop-off location is available 24/7, so you can swing by at your convenience until January 13th. Your trees will be processed to create mulch, contributing to a greener environment. If you live in a single-family home, remember that you can also place your tree out for removal on your scheduled bulk trash day.
HOLIDAY TRASH SERVICE:
In observance of Christmas Day, there will be no trash/bulk/recycling pick up on December 25th. If your collection day falls on this holiday, Coastal Waste and Recycling will service your carts on the next scheduled service day and take any bagged material placed next to your carts at that time. There are no make-up days.
During the week of December 26th through January 2nd, additional household waste and recyclables may be placed next to your grey garbage cart for removal. Please place these additional materials into large plastic bags and/or personal garbage cans.
