Felon Arrested For Aggravated Rape On Houseboat

Convicted felon Tyree Watson, 42, was arrested this morning on multiple felony charges after a woman said he strangled and raped her on his houseboat in Four Corners Marina on Lavergne Couchville Pike over the weekend.

The woman said she was invited to a party by Watson at the dock on Friday night. When she asked to use the restroom on his boat, Watson allegedly led her inside and locked the door. The woman said Watson threatened to kill her and began to strangle her before he sexually assaulted her.

She was able to escape when Watson fell asleep and got help from a dock worker.

Watson was charged with aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated assault. He is currently jailed in lieu of $200,000 bond.
