Transform 285/400: Weekly Lane Closure Advisory

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close lanes on I-285 eastbound and westbound and SR 400 northbound and southbound for construction activities. Travel restrictions include possible delays, reduced speeds, and detours in some areas.

Daytime Closures:

Tuesday, November 12, to Wednesday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • One, left lane on SR 400 southbound from Mount Vernon Highway to Hammond Drive
Overnight Closures:

Monday, November 11, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Rolling closures on I-285 westbound and eastbound from Chamblee Dunwoody Road to Mount Vernon Highway
  • One, right lane on SR 400 northbound from Windsor Parkway to I-285
  • Two, right lanes on SR 400 southbound at I-285

  • Motorists traveling on Abernathy Road westbound should use Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Mount Vernon Highway, and Barfield Road (road changes to Mercedes-Benz Drive) to access Abernathy Road.
  • Motorists traveling on SR 400 northbound to Abernathy Road westbound should use Abernathy Road, Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Mount Vernon Highway, and Barfield Road (road changes to Mercedes-Benz Drive) to Abernathy Road westbound.
