Rolling out UAA’s new tagline: Your journey. Your community. Your impact.

UAA's new MobileGo unit made its community debut at this summer's Arctic Thunder Air Show. The engagement trailer, which serves as a roaming hub for community members and potential students to learn about UAA's programs, aptly showcases the university's new tagline along its sides: Your journey. Your community. Your impact.

The new tagline is part of a brand refresh coordinated by University Marketing and Communications alongside Walsh Sheppard following research and input from students, faculty, staff, alumni, high school students, counselors and community leaders.

"A strong brand is vital for any institution's success, serving as the cornerstone of identity and distinguishing our university in a crowded marketplace," said Executive Director of Advancement Tanya Pont. "For UAA, we hope this compelling tagline will resonate with our community, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment. It will also be instrumental in attracting new students, engaging alumni and donors, and recruiting passionate faculty and staff who are aligned with the UAA's values and vision."

Each part of the tagline - "Your Journey," "Your Community" and "Your Impact" - captures distinct-yet-interconnected elements of what UAA offers and represents, addressing different audiences while reinforcing a cohesive narrative. Together, the three segments embody the essence of UAA's mission: transforming lives through teaching, research, community engagement and creative expression in a diverse and inclusive environment.
