Sharice Davids’ Inflation Reduction Act Continues to Lower Drug Prices, While Reddy Wants To Raise Them

Today, the Department of Health and Human Services announced that they have negotiated down the cost of 10 prescription drugs under Medicare - saving millions of Americans billions of dollars in yearly costs.

Thanks to Sharice Davids helping pass this historic, cost-saving Inflation Reduction Act, these price negotiations are expected to save taxpayers $6 billion and help Americans save $1.5 billion in out-of-pocket medication costs.

Prasanth Reddy has criticized the law, which not a single House Republican voted for. Even worse, his party has repeatedly called for the full repeal of the landmark legislation - and it's clear Reddy will fall in line with the extreme members bankrolling his campaign.

Trump's Project 2025 and House Republicans' calls to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act would force millions of Americans to pay more for life-saving prescription drugs like insulin and now 10 of the country's most common and costly drugs.

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
"Prasanth Reddy is against saving seniors money and lowering prices on life-saving medicine. Voters see the stark contrast between Sharice Davids delivering for Kansans and Prasanth Reddy trying to raise costs - and that's why they will reelect Davids this November."
