OKLAHOMA CITY - (Nov. 8, 2024) - Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE:PAYC) ("Paycom"), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, celebrated Veterans Day early by donating a record-breaking $137,814 for the Mark Divine Courage Foundation through the Burpees for Vets campaign, a national fitness challenge that ensures veterans have the resources and opportunities they need when transitioning out of service.
For each burpee completed by a Paycom employee from Nov. 4 to Nov. 7, Paycom added to the donation total for the Courage Foundation. Paycom employees across the nation completed a total of 112,814 burpees during this year's challenge. This is the single-largest donation in history for Burpees for Vets and the Courage Foundation.
"All of us at Paycom are thankful for the opportunity to participate in an initiative that provides such impactful support to military veterans," said Buck Adams, vice president of operations at Paycom and the executive sponsor of Paycom's veterans employee resource group (ERG). "As a veteran myself, I know how meaningful and necessary these resources are for service members and their families."
Funds raised through Paycom's participation in Burpees for Vets will support Courage Foundation and its holistic Veteran Integration Program. The 12-month intensive and immersive initiative provides specialized training and support to mitigate post-traumatic stress, promote post-traumatic growth and establish a pathway toward civic leadership for each veteran participant.
"Our immersive integration program helps veterans combat mental health issues and positions them to excel as productive citizens," said Sid Ellington, strategic advisor to the Courage Foundation board of directors. "Thanks to generous partners like Paycom, we're able to continue providing this essential resource to the brave men and women who risked their lives for our freedom."
Since 2022, Paycom and its employees have raised $316,286 for veterans through Burpees for Vets. With an employee-led veterans ERG, premier employee health benefits, in-office well-being advisors and more, Paycom continues to bolster team member well-being while enhancing the communities where team members work and live.
