The National Assembly heard from the Chairman of the State Agency for National Security Plamen Tonchev and the Director of the Military Intelligence Service, Brigadier General Venelin Venev.

The hearing of the Chairman of the State Agency for National Security Plamen Tonchev was at the request of the MP from the parliamentary group "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" Elisaveta Belobradova and a group of MPs. It was about complaints filed with SANS against members of the Public Council for the construction of a National Children's Hospital and against the team of the Danaya Foundation, from the Commercial League - Global Pharma Center AD in connection with their postponed investment plan for the establishment of a multidisciplinary hospital "Mom and me".

The Director of the Military Intelligence Service at the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Venelin Venev, was heard by the National Assembly at the request of the MP from the MRF parliamentary group, Hamid Hamid, and a group of MPs. The hearing was about information leaked to the media about the recruitment of intelligence officers from the Military Intelligence Service in the Largo cafe in the centre of Sofia, by the National Security Advisor of Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov - Veselin Markov, at the request and on the initiative of Gen. Atanas Atanassov with a proposal for career promotion of the intelligence officers in the service in exchange for personal loyalty to General Atanas Atanassov

At the beginning of the plenary session, the National Assembly terminated the mandate of Filiz Hyusmenova as a Member of the National Assembly.
