DMACC Water Environmental Technology (WET) Program Receives $285,000 Donation from Miller Family

The DMACC Water Environmental Technology (WET) program recently received a major donation from the Miller family, which owns and operates Electric Pump company of Des Moines, to help create a new, state-of-the-art WET lab at the DMACC Ankeny Campus. A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the new lab was held on July 12, 2024, with the Miller family in attendance. The DMACC WET program offers students comprehensive training for water and wastewater management, including how to operate and maintain a certified water treatment facility.

The Miller family, along with DMACC administrators, faculty and board members, take part in a July 12 ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the new DMACC Water Environmental Technology (WET) Lab at the College's Ankeny Campus.
