This festive event is sponsored by Bucanero Beach House, Central City Dance, National Heritage Academies, Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea of Canton, Square 1 Pools, and Wolfpack Dental. As participants experience the seasonal light displays and festive decorations around the scenic large pond, they will also enjoy strolling holiday characters, Detroit Circus fire performers, live musical performances, a DJ, and more! In addition, seasonal refreshments, including mini-donuts and roasted almonds, will be available for purchase.
New this year! The Winter Wonderland Parade, presented by Papaya Fruit, Inc., will be held starting at 6 p.m. The parade will begin behind the Trinity Health Medical Center of Canton and will travel along Veterans Way to Heritage Park Drive, where it will disperse at the North Pavilions. Spectators are encouraged to wear festive, lighted attire and watch the parade near the Canton Public Library and Canton Administration Building.
"This year's event promises to offer an array of festive experiences that will certainly help everyone embrace the winter season," said Evan Sweet, Recreation Specialist. "Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, this year's event is free to all participants who can join in the fun."
This special event will be held entirely outdoors, so participants should dress accordingly. Strollers and wagons are also recommended for the littlest participants.
All ages will enjoy an evening stroll highlighting the sights and sounds of the season in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road. No pre-registration is required.
