Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is issuing a reminder to Medicaid providers throughout the state:
Providers must complete their required 5-year revalidation by November 30, 2024, or they will be disenrolled and unable to receive payment for claims after that date. Reactivation of enrollment cannot be retroactive in accordance with federal regulations.
The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services has created new websites expressly for revalidation, including video webinars, FAQs and other guidance on how to revalidate. Providers can access those here: IMPACT Information.
