City of Valdosta Prepares for 9th Annual City Hall Selfie Day

The City of Valdosta is excited to announce its participation in the ninth annual City Hall Selfie Day on Thursday, August 15, 2024. This annual event, organized by Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL), is dedicated to showcasing pride in local government institutions and highlighting the important work of public service.

Since 2016, City Hall Selfie Day has brought together government employees, elected officials, members of the media, and community members nationwide to share their civic pride through selfies.

The City of Valdosta invites all community members to join in celebrating the essential role of local government.

How to Participate:

• Take a Selfie:Visit City Hall, located at 216 East Central Avenue, or any local government building in Valdosta and snap a selfie by yourself, with a group, or with a community member.
• Share Your Photo:Post your photo with the hashtags #CityHallSelfie, #ELGL and #GaCities. Tag us @Valdosta, A City Without Limits on Facebook or @cityofvaldosta on Instagram and Twitter!
